We are delighted to welcome you to the 18th European Conference on Organized Films (ECOF2024) held in Évora, Portugal, from July 22nd to July 25th, 2024.

Évora is a beautiful small size historical city, 130 km east of Lisbon (1h30min distance), easily reachable by train or bus.

The technical sessions for ECOF2024 will take place at Colégio do Espírito Santo of the University of Évora, an ideal venue for fruitful discussions and conviviality between the conference participants.

Travel

To go to Évora from Lisbon you can choose between:

- Train ( CP Train ) at ORIENTE railway station.

If you are arriving at the Lisbon International Airport you can reach ORIENTE railway station easily by subway (Metro - red line).

- Bus ( Rede Expressos or Flixbus ) at ORIENTE bus station.

Alternatively, Rede Expressos has a broader choice of departure times to Évora at the SETE RIOS bus station.

You can reach SETE RIOS bus station from the airport by subway (red and then blue Metro lines).

When in Évora, most places of interest will be within walking distance. Alternatively, you can use a Taxi or the Trevo local bus lines.

Accomodation

An array of hotels can be found inside or close to the historical city center, within walking distance of the Conference Venue. A varied selection of comfortable accommodations should be available at convenient prices. Low-cost accomodations for students are expected to be available.
